Historic productions: Concert Sinatra at L'Auditori
It was in 1999 when Xavier Piqué and the Selva Big Band decided to wear long the work made since 1997, "Tribute to Frank Sinatra" and they presented it at L'Auditori in Barcelona in front of more than 2,000 people.
It was a starter in his musical career. The numerous concerts held from that time had a recognition by the audience and the critics as well.
Particularly noteworthy is the collaboration of Xavier Piqué's friends and singers in that concert, Adela, Ali Mama (Kuky) and Joan Carles Llorens, in the topics I've got you under my skin, They can't take that away from me, Fly me to the moon, Let me try again and Bad, bad Leroy Brown. This experience is reflected in the CD recorded at the concert.
Thus it was born what since then it'd be called CONCERT SINATRA.
