Biography
From Barcelona, born in Mollerussa, he began his musical career in the 60's, making several forays into the world of music.

In 1986 he starts in the world of havaneres within the group Mar Endins, bringing them for the first time at the Palau de la Música in 1988.

In 1991 he forms a group called Altamar, a quartet of voices from a high level, playing songs with arrangements by Leo Borrell. The group was admired by the conjunction of their voices and by the musical arrangements, coming from the world of jazz. That same year he published his first solo album "Canto cançons" ("I Sing Songs") with American standard issues in Catalan, with arrangements by Leo Borrell and adaptation of the lyrics by Josep M. Andreu, under the seal of Picap. The songs "Com he fet sempre" (My way), "Deixa'm tornar a començar" (Let me try again), "Si és que algú t'estima" (All the way) and other classic songs are included on this disc.

He has collaborated in radio, theater, movies, actor dubbing for TV series, films, documentaries, and commercials. In 1997 Xavier Piqué began "Concert Sinatra" in tribute to his idol bringing it all over Catalonia. On June 9th,1999 he presented this concert in the Auditorium of Barcelona in front of more than 2,000 people. This concert was live recorded and released on CD.

In 2007, coinciding with the 10th anniversary, the concert gained wealth by incorporating the string to the formation of usual Big Band accompanied by two groups: Selva Big Band and Orquestra de Cambra de l'Empordà were presented at the Palau de la Música Catalana with all full. This concert was live recorded and released on CD+DVD.

In 2010 and with the Orquestra de Cambra de l'Empordà, begins a new cycle of concerts called "Concert Sinatra Íntim" ("Intimate Concert Sinatra") with new musical arrangements, designed to enjoy closely the songs that Frank Sinatra popularized.
